At The Green Print Collective, we believe creativity grows stronger when it is shared.
One of the greatest joys of being based in Melbourne is being part of such a powerful and inspiring creative community. The amount of talented artists, illustrators, designers, printmakers and makers around this city is incredible. Everywhere we look, someone is experimenting, creating something beautiful or coming up with an idea we would never have thought of ourselves.
And we love it!
So we thought:
Why not bring some of that creativity into The Green Print Collective?
Bringing other creatives on board allows us to offer a wider and more exciting range of designs while keeping our own creative energy alive.
There are only so many ideas one brain can come up with!
Working collectively means we can share ideas, inspire each other and keep creating without burning ourselves out. It gives us the space to stay curious, experiment and make products that feel original, playful and full of life.
But there's another important reason we love working this way.
It helps us spread the word about what we care about.
When artists collaborate with us, their creativity becomes part of our world, while we get to share our values around ethical production, sustainability and thoughtful making with an even wider audience.
We think that's pretty special.

For a while, we've been dreaming about expanding beyond clothing into homeware and other thoughtfully made products. Our wonderful customers have been asking for this too, so we're listening!
And our collaborations have opened up another very exciting direction: Screen Printing on Paper.
We've fallen in love with the idea of turning original artwork into beautiful, limited-edition art prints, pieces ready to be framed, collected and enjoyed in homes, studios and creative spaces.
It's a natural extension of our love for printmaking and handcrafted design, and it gives us another beautiful way to collaborate with artists.
We're still experimenting, researching and figuring out exactly where this path will take us.
And that's the fun part.
For us, being a collective isn't simply about making more products.
It's about creating more possibilities.
Possibilities for artists to share their work.
Possibilities for us to keep learning and experimenting.
Possibilities for our customers to discover something unexpected.
And possibilities for sustainable, thoughtful and creative making to grow.
We see The Green Print Collective as a space where clothing, printmaking, art, textiles and ideas can come together.
