If you've been with us since the Treekid days, you might be wondering… Where did Treekid go? Well don't worry, we just have evolved, transformed in something that it's even more creative and spontaneous, Treekid has simply grown into something bigger.
When we started Treekid, our goal was to create children's clothing differently. We wanted to make colourful, playful pieces that were designed to last, reduce waste and be kinder to the planet.
But along the way, something else happened. We fell completely in love with fabric, colour, screen printing and making things by hand. We started printing our own textiles, experimenting with different fibres, connecting with artists and dreaming up ideas that went far beyond children's clothing.
And we realised that the little world we had created with Treekid was ready to grow.
That's how The Green Print Collective was born.
We're taking everything we loved about Treekid, our commitment to people, planet, sustainability, ethical production, creativity and thoughtful design, and bringing it into a much bigger creative space.
The Green Print Collective allows us to expand our range, design and make textiles, clothing, homeware, to print art pieces for everyone. Also, collaborate with artists and illustrators, keep creating our own screen printed textiles, explore more lines of printmaking. Along the way, we discover a new love, PAPER! So art prints have been in the making lately and eventually expand into other beautifully made things.
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO TREEKID? Treekid has grown and writing a new chapter! We still will stock adjustable clothing for kids, and we will continue to produce things for the little ones just under a new name.
Our love of adjustable clothing, upcycling, natural fabrics and reducing waste continues to influence the way we design and make today.
The Treekid journey taught us so much about what it means to make products more thoughtfully, and those lessons have come with us into this new chapter.
Some ideas may evolve into new The Green Print Collective pieces, while others will remain special reminders of where we began.
